Right beside you

by Dreams Are Worth The Cost

When you're laying in the dark
and you feel all alone
look at the spaces between your fingers
and imagine that's where mine are.

Look at the moon,
it's the same one we share
though we're thousands of miles apart
and know I'm looking at it too.

When you feel a gentle breeze
playing on the back of your neck
know it's simply the wind
carrying my kiss to you.

No matter the distance
I'm always right beside you
encouraging you to go on,
taking your hand when you fall down.

And when you're crying from the pain,
you're not alone even then,
I'm sitting right beside you
crying your tears for you.

You're the amazing man I love
more than anything else in life,
you're the one I want beside me
for the rest of my days.
